Pain is extremely subjective and everyone has different pain thresholds, however dermal fillers contain a anesthetic property called Lignocaine design to have a numbing effect when injected. A topical agent is also applied pre treatment to help reduce further discomfort.

At Absolute Bliss Health & Beauty, we carry premium Dermal Fillers, which will show beautiful results straight away with minimal disruption to your daily lives. Dermal fillers, like other cosmetic procedure, you may experience swelling and bruising for approximately 5-7 days after your treatment.

Dermal fillers are manufactured by using Hylacross Technology, offering a range of different viscosities and thickness. This allows for long lasting results depending on dermal filler used and why products last longer then others.

  • Avoid makeup for 24 hrs
  • Avoid touching the injection sites for 12 hrs
  • Avoid applying pressure on treated areas, if possible, sleep on your back
  • Avoid drinking alcohol for 24 hrs
  • Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hrs
  • Avoid dental work for 4 weeks post treatment
  • Avoid domestic flights for 72 hrs and 2 wweeks for international
  • Avoid facials, facial waxing, chemical peels, laser/IPL or energy-based treatments and microdermabrasion for 2 weeks after treatment
  • Avoid the use a sauna or spa for 24 hrs
  • Drink plenty of water
  • Pain / Redness / Bruising and swelling can be normal. Paracetamol for Pain. Avoid anti-inflammatory medications (Advil, Nurofen, Ibuprofen etc).

Do not massage the treated area unless instructed by your injector – this relates to the precise placement of the product as well as reducing the risk of infection through transmission from hands touching the injected areas.

The process is relatively quick process and results may be visible as early 3-5 days of receiving treatment. Generally, you’ll see full results in 10-14 days and lasts approximately 3-4 months. Regular anti- wrinkle treatments is encouraged as it may help the long term appearance of fine line and winkles as you age.

It is important to ensure you attend your 4 week follow up appointment.

This will allow you to discuss your treatment and ensure the desired results you are looking for are achieved.
